Note: If a student is caught using unfair means or violating any of the above mentioned rules, the articles would be confiscated and the student would be debarred from answering his/her paper. No excuse of any kind will be entertained thereafter.
PROMOTION POLICY
Madina Public School has made significant strides in academics. The school follows Grading System based on CCE Pattern as prescribed by State Board from Nursery class onwards. It includes four Formative Assessments (FAs) and two Summative Assessments (SA’s). The overall score student is calculated by taking 40% Marks from (FAs) (i.e. 10% Marks from each FA) and 60% Marks from (SAs) (i.e. 30% of marks from each(SA).
To promote a student to the next class he/she must score minimum 40% marks or above in the Annual Score of each subject (i.e. out of 100 marks).
The result declared at the end of the session is final in all respects.
Along with the academic performance we also consider regularity in attendance, day to day academic performance and participation in co- curricular activities of the student. Annual performance of such aspects is evaluated in a 5.0 grading system.
CONDUCT & DISCIPLINE
The conduct and discipline of a student is of prime importance at Madina Public School.
It is expected that every student in school behaves in a manner that befits the dignity and honour of the values cherished at this school.
Discipline is maintained through understanding and positive attitude. Discipline includes respect for seniors, love for juniors and self-control.
Student’s discipline and conduct is recorded in the report card where special columns are made to assign grades according to their behaviour.
